¿Llorar por la muerte
o celebrar la vida?
¿Cómo elegir si el dolor se opone?
Si la muerte, segura y desconocida,
sorprende como el rayo.
Si, tan breve y silenciosa,
invade y fragmenta.

Y uno, que cree saber cuánto quiere,
se descubre en el enorme aprecio
al compañero, igual y distinto;
pero siempre roble.
